Welcome to the Rózsakő Wine Cellar.
The Rózsakő (Rose Stone), one of Badacsony's most famous attractions, can be found not so very far from here on the slopes of hill.

The Rose Stone is an enormous chunk of rock that, centuries ago, rolled down from the summit of the then active volcano. It takes its name from Rózsá Szegedy, the wife of Sándor Kisfaludy, a famous writer from the last century, who loved to sit on this stone with her partner and admire the Balaton panorama.
Local folklore says that the Rose Stone has magical powers and if young lovers sit on the stone with their back to Lake Balaton, they will be married within the same year and live a long and happy married life. If a person sits on it alone and thinks of the one they love then he or she will immediately fall in love with them.

So don't waste anymore time! Rush to the Rose Stone just as quickly as you can and sit on it!
Then you can write your names in the Great Rose Stone Book and lock it with a little padlock to symbolise your undying love.

Should you be passing through Badacsony later on, you can check that your lock has been left untouched, spend a pleasant evening in the Rózsakő Wine Cellar, drink the juice of the grape and happily recall the atmosphere of your first meeting.
